Do I need to install any special software?
EasySiteWizard can be found in your Hosting Control Panel (a/k/a WebSite OS) under the site builder tool set. No additional downloads are required. Unlike version 5.1, this new release is built almost exclusively in DHTML so the Java development kit download is no longer necessary.
How many pages can I have on my web site?
All EasySite Wizard templates allow you to have up to 8 pages.
Can I import pictures into my web site?
EasySite Wizard allows you to import pictures and modify the size of them into any page of your web site. We also provide an image library of 10,000 images you may use for free an unlimited amount of times for any web site you create.
Do I need to know HTML to build my site?
No you do not. EasySite Wizard is designed to allow business people to create a professional site without advanced programming knowledge. You can simply use the intuitive templates provided in the program to build a site you will be proud of.
Do I have the option to create my site in HTML?
Yes, you can create your site in HTML. HTML code will be displayed in the WYSIWYG page editor.
Can I preview what I have done before going live?
Absolutely. Preview functionality is built right in so you can work on your site, save what you have done, go back later, preview and edit before publishing it to the web.
Can I change an existing site without taking it out of service?
Yes, with the Clone function. With cloning you can create a copy of the existing site, make changes, and preview it before going live.
Will I be able to choose different page layouts?
Yes, you will be able to choose from 10 different page layouts for each page on your web site.
Can I link text and pictures to other web sites?
Text and pictures can be linked to other web sites. EasySite Wizard allows you to link either text or pictures to another web site in either the default frame, entire window or a new window.
What are META tags? Why should I use them with EasySite Wizard?
META tags are used by search engines to help find your web site. When you type a search topic on a search engine web site, it uses a software program called a spider to search through the META tags of web sites in its list and find ones that match your search word. Your META tags will not appear on your web site, as they are hidden in the HTML code.
Will the web site I create use frames?
All EasySite Wizard multi-site web site templates are frame-based. This gives you the ability to create a flexible and robust web site.
What image types are offered in the image library?
To offer you the greatest flexibility with image insertion for your web site, all our images in the image library are transparent .gif files. Transparent .gif files provide the greatest compatibility in adding our images to your web site without you having to edit the images.
