| If your domain is NOT being used: |
Contact your domain host (usually where you registered your domain) and change the Host Names (also called DNS or Name Servers) for the domain you want to use to:
Host Name: ns.rackspace.com
IP Address: 207.235.16.2 (primary)
Host Name: ns2.rackspace.com
IP Address: 207.71.44.121 (secondary) |
| This is generally done using online domain management forms provided by the domain host. If these forms are not available, contact the domain host's support department and request that they make the Host Name change for you. |
| If your domain IS being used: |
Follow these two steps:
1) Decide on a subdomain. Here are some examples:
- my.yourdomain.com
- calendar.yourdomain.com
- matchmaker.yourdomain.com
- forum.yourdomain.com
- classifieds.yourdomain.com
2) Contact your domain host. Ask them to add a hostname A Record pointing the subdomain to IP 64.49.220.149. If your subdomain is to be used with Match Maker, please have it pointed to 64.49.220.152 |

| You can easily check to make sure your domain/subdomain is pointed correctly and is using the correct name servers. Go to Network Tools, type your domain/subdomain in the blank text field, and click the [Submit] button. Your domain/subdomain's current IP address will display at the top of the search results. |
